• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Tue–Fri (12:00 pm - 10:00 pm)

Qualifications – CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience performing CT and diagnostic X-ray exams
• Associates degree or higher preferred (Radiologic Technology or related field)
• Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography (required)
• New York State license or permit to inject contrast preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire if not already held
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (X-ray)
• Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong communication, patient-service and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to perform under pressure in a hospital imaging environment

Responsibilities – CT / X-Ray / Medical Imaging

• Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in a hospital setting following radiologic protocols
• Operate Siemens Somatom Perspective CT scanner and related imaging equipment
• Prepare patients for exams, obtain relevant clinical history, and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Administer contrast material per New York State scope of practice and facility policy (if licensed)
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in the EMR
• Follow radiation safety standards, infection control, and departmental policies for cleanliness and safety
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Deliver friendly, professional patient interactions and high-quality customer service
• Adapt to changing workflows and collaborate with the imaging team to ensure efficient patient throughput
