This 13-week travel contract (April 21, 2026 – July 21, 2026) is based in Somerville, New Jersey (08876). Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,670 – $2,870
• Location: Somerville, NJ (08876) — Cardiac Cath Lab travel job in New Jersey
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Interventional Radiology support
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 21, 2026 – July 21, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirements: 9 shifts/month (Mon–Thurs 5 PM–6 AM; 1 weekend/month Fri 5 PM–6 AM, Sat/Sun 6 AM–6 AM)

Job Requirements (CT Technologist / Rad Tech)

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiac Catheter Lab, interventional radiology, or similar cath lab setting
• Active New Jersey state license or Compact License accepted
• ARRT (R) certification or CCI RCIS required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred (experience with Merge is a plus)
• Ability to float within clinical skillset as needed
• Available to work 2 of 3 holidays during the contract
• References required

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD implants, peripheral angiographies, PCI, PTCA, and stent placements
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging and support equipment (Philips fluoroscopy/X-ray, Impella, balloon pump/IABP, ACIST injector)
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, left/right heart catheterizations, and IABP placement/removal
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, perform EKG lead placement, and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, prep vascular access sites, and set up procedural equipment and supplies
• Document patient care, procedural details, and device use accurately using Epic and Merge charting systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and radiology
• Maintain procedural equipment, troubleshoot as appropriate, and manage inventory/stock supplies
