Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 – $2,140
- Location: New York, NY 10003 (Manhattan – central, accessible; ideal for CT techs seeking New York CT technologist jobs)
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks (April 20, 2026 – June 15, 2026)
- Position Type: Travel CT Technologist / CT Tech (Hospital setting)
- Shift: Mid shift, 3x12-hour shifts (2:30 PM – Midnight, Wednesday–Saturday)
- Training Schedule: First 2 weeks: Tuesday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Setting: Hospital – Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU (orthopedic hospital)
- Caseload: Up to 20 patients per day (Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics)
- Scrubs: Charcoal Grey
Job Requirements (CT Technologist / CT Tech)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or CT Tech in a hospital or imaging center
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Valid New York State License required
- IV Certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
- Experience operating Siemens CT equipment required
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients/equipment in excess of 150 pounds (with or without assistive devices)
- Epic charting experience preferred (Epic experience is a plus for hospital-based CT tech jobs)
- COVID-19 and seasonal Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans and X-rays for orthopedic and general radiology exams using fixed and portable equipment
- Conduct X-ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
- Perform CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, brain perfusion, CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Safely and efficiently operate Siemens CT scanners and related radiology equipment
- Rotate across multiple departments (inpatient, outpatient, ER, ICU) and collaborate with orthopedic teams as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation, and basic Epic charting (preferred) to support continuity of care
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies for all patient populations (pediatrics through geriatrics)
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy Manhattan hospital environment
