• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 - $2,790
• Position: CT Technologist / CT Tech (Travel Radiology Job)
• Setting: Hospital Radiology Unit (Inpatient/Outpatient CT)
• Location: Schenectady, NY 12308 — Capital Region, New York
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour night shifts (Sunday–Wednesday, 9pm–7am; 30 min unpaid break)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 3 days per month (includes one weekend day)
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology / Travel CT Technologist

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist (CT tech) experience; clinical quality must meet facility standards
• Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist license; candidates may apply with proof of pending NYS license
• ARRT certification required (Radiography/CT as applicable)
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross); can be obtained prior to start
• NY injection certification highly preferred; acceptable if experienced with IV starts and contrast injections
• Ability to float to other units within documented competency
• Prior travel radiology experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and related radiologic procedures in a busy hospital radiology department
• Start IVs and manage contrast injections for CT imaging (per facility protocols)
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR
• Follow hospital policies for attire and infection control (no artificial or gel nails; no chipped polish)
• Participate in scheduled on-call shifts, including weekends
• Float to other units when required, working within competency scope
• Complete all required compliance and credentialing documentation at least 7 days prior to start date
