Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 25, 2026 – August 22, 2026)
• Location: Morristown, NJ 07960 — New Jersey CT jobs / Morristown healthcare
• Setting: Hospital – Radiology / CT Scanning Department
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm with call included
• Hours per Week: 40 (5x8 hour shifts)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 – $2,790 (Travel/Contract)
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract – CT Technologist / CT Tech

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with CT experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Radiographer technical training program from an accredited School of Radiography or college-based radiography program
• Active ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) certifications
• Valid NJDEP New Jersey State X?Ray License
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans and related procedures following hospital radiology protocols
• Prepare and obtain necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for CT procedures
• Ensure sterility of field and instruments; maintain proper room and equipment cleanliness and infection control
• Provide compassionate patient care—communicate clearly to alleviate anxiety while protecting patient privacy and dignity (HIPAA compliance)
• Verify patient identification and assess patient condition before, during, and after contrast administration
• Monitor and report sudden changes in patient condition to nursing staff and radiologist; assist in emergency response and triage as needed
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and adhere to radiation safety standards and departmental policies
• Participate in daily inventory, stocking, and cleaning of supplies and CT equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and the radiology team to support efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
