CT Technologist (Travel Contract) – Baltimore, MD | ARRT (CT) required, 13-week hospital assignment — night shifts, competitive pay. - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour (18:30 – 07:00), Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Hours per Week: 36
- Holiday & Weekend Coverage: Required as scheduled
- On-Call/Floating: Not required
- Orientation: 24 hours
Job Requirements – CT Tech Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting (emergency and acute care preferred)
- Active ARRT (CT) certification; ARRT (R) preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Active Maryland state license or Compact License at time of submission
- Experience with Philips 7500, Philips Brilliance 64, and Siemens Force preferred
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system preferred
- Comfortable imaging all patient age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- Two satisfactory professional references required (one supervisor/manager and one charge RN acceptable)
- Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel CT assignment requirement)
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Responsibilities – CT Technologist Duties
- Perform high-quality CT scans across a broad range of clinical indications including trauma, stroke, vascular, abdominal, chest, musculoskeletal, and pediatric studies
- Operate advanced CT imaging equipment (Philips 7500, Philips Brilliance 64, Siemens Force) and perform 3D rendering (MIP, SSD, volume rendering)
- Prepare and administer iodinated contrast media safely and document contrast use per protocol
- Maintain radiation safety protocols, ALARA principles, and infection control standards
- Assess and communicate with patients and caregivers of all ages; ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Collaborate with radiologists, ED teams, and multidisciplinary staff to prioritize urgent and emergent imaging needs
- Accurately document procedures, findings, and patient information in Epic and departmental systems
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required
