• Shift: Evenings (12:00pm–12:30am or 2:00pm–2:30am)
• Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340 – $2,510 (competitive weekly pay for CT technologists)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with CT experience
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Active New York State Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) registration preferred
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
• Experience operating Siemens and GE CT scanners preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EPIC EMR)
• Knowledge of CT imaging protocols, contrast administration, radiation safety, and patient positioning
• Strong attention to detail, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures (head, body, angiography, contrast-enhanced studies) as requested by referring physicians and radiologists
• Prepare patients for CT imaging, explain procedures, and provide patient education as needed
• Administer contrast per facility policy and injection registration scope of practice; monitor for adverse reactions
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and hospital policies
• Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients, staff, and self
• Document procedures and enter results accurately in EPIC and Radiology Information Systems
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Support Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures and scheduling
• Uphold service delivery standards and provide professional patient-centered care
• Perform other related duties as required by the Radiology Department
