• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890-$2,030
• Setting: Hospital

• Duration: 13-week local assignment
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
• High-volume trauma experience required
• Current RRT credential
• Active Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility to practice as a respiratory therapist
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital respiratory care environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients in a hospital setting
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and support trauma-related patient care needs
• Administer respiratory therapies and operate ventilators and related equipment according to physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document treatments, patient responses, and clinical observations accurately and promptly
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and quality care expectations
