Medical Laboratory Scientist Job Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of blood bank, chemistry, and hematology
• Ability to perform clinical laboratory testing with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a hospital or clinical setting
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduled rotation

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis in blood bank, chemistry, and hematology
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results to support patient care
• Maintain quality standards and follow established laboratory protocols
• Operate and monitor laboratory instrumentation and equipment
• Collaborate with laboratory staff, clinicians, and healthcare teams to support efficient workflow
