Job Requirements
- 2 years of respiratory care experience required
- Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Adult critical care and emergency department experience required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- References required
- Ability to work night shifts and float within scope as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory therapy care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute hospital setting
- Perform and assist with critical respiratory procedures, including intubation support, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas sampling
- Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, bronchodilator treatments, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and airway clearance interventions
- Assist with emergency response and rapid response situations as part of a collaborative care team
- Manage tracheostomy care, suctioning, extubation support, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Collaborate with respiratory services and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
- Float within the facility, within scope, as needed to support patient care demands
