Job Requirements

• 2 years of respiratory care experience required
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Adult critical care and emergency department experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• References required
• Ability to work night shifts and float within scope as needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory therapy care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute hospital setting
• Perform and assist with critical respiratory procedures, including intubation support, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas sampling
• Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, bronchodilator treatments, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and airway clearance interventions
• Assist with emergency response and rapid response situations as part of a collaborative care team
• Manage tracheostomy care, suctioning, extubation support, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with respiratory services and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Float within the facility, within scope, as needed to support patient care demands
