Travel to Akron, Ohio, as a CT / Radiologic Technologist supporting a collaborative interventional cardiac team in a high-acuity hospital setting. Job Requirements
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program required
- Active ARRT Radiography registry required
- Current Ohio radiologic technologist license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certification required or must be obtainable within one year
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant CT, radiology, or cardiac cath lab experience required
- Experience with pediatric and adult congenital cases preferred
- Experience with sterile technique preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar software required
Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Scrub into procedures as a sterile scrub assistant and manage x-ray equipment
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor EP studies and RF ablation procedures
- Monitor invasive cardiac waveforms and pressure gradients during procedures
- Communicate patient vital signs and EKG data to the care team
- Maintain supply par levels and assist with equipment troubleshooting
- Support a collaborative team caring for newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease
- Float to competent units as needed and contribute wherever support is needed
