• Employment Type: Travel
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340 - $2,510
• Schedule: Day shifts with rotating start times between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Shifts Per Week: 4 scheduled shifts per week, totaling 36 hours
• Call Coverage: 1 day per week with every 4th weekend coverage required
• Start Date: 7/27/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Setting: Interventional radiology / special procedures

Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, IR Tech, or Radiologic Technologist
• Prior travel radiology experience preferred
• Neuro-interventional experience required
• Run-off and angiogram experience highly preferred
• ARRT or CCI certification and registration preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred prior to direct patient care
• Ability to remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume procedural environment

Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed practitioner during fluoroscopic, interventional, and neuro-interventional procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures and help reduce anxiety through clear communication and education
• Use sterile technique and follow established safety, infection control, and radiation protection standards
• Support a wide variety of procedures, including biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, tunneled dialysis catheters, Medi ports, drains, lumbar punctures, and PEG tube insertions
• Assist with neuro-interventional procedures such as cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, and carotid stenting
• Document patient information, preliminary findings, and critical updates accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain flexibility to stay beyond scheduled hours when procedure volumes require additional coverage
• Deliver attentive, patient-centered care in a high-acuity procedural setting
