Join a dynamic acute care imaging team in Cincinnati, Ohio, where you’ll help deliver timely, accurate diagnostic care in a fast-paced and rewarding hospital environment. This 13-week travel CT technologist assignment offers steady night shifts, a supportive clinical setting, and the chance to work in Cincinnati’s west side—an area known for convenient access, a welcoming community feel, and proximity to everything the city has to offer.
Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,080
- Setting: Hospital-based CT / Radiology department
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- Location: Cincinnati, OH 45211
- On-Site: Yes
- Weekend / Holiday Coverage: Weekend rotation every 6th weekend and holiday coverage required
- Additional Imaging Support: Basic X-ray exams may be required for in-house patients
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- ARRT certification/registration required
- State radiology license required, or required based on state practice guidelines
- Advanced CT modality registration preferred, or ability to obtain within 2 years
- Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred
- Experience with PACS, Radiant, and EPIC preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient-centered care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography procedures safely and efficiently
- Position and immobilize patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Verify patient and procedural information for accuracy before scanning
- Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast agents according to procedure needs and protocol
- Assist radiologists with biopsies, drainage procedures, and other imaging-guided interventions
- Maintain working knowledge of CT systems and imaging workflows, including PACS and Radiant
- Complete required timeouts and follow safety, infection-control, and radiation-safety standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and support additional imaging duties as assigned
