Job Details

• Position: CT Technologist / Travel CT Tech
• Setting: Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Department
• Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
• Start Date: 09/08/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Schedule: Days/evenings with every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 - $2,920

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiography program
• ARRT registration required
• Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control
• CT certification from an accredited CT program or current CT registration through ARRT
• At least 1 year of current CT Technologist experience within the last 5 years, or 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of designated anatomical areas according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Operate CT control consoles and supporting diagnostic imaging equipment with technical accuracy
• Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimal images
• Review imaging requests, explain procedures, and help ease patient anxiety
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the exam process
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping
• Assist with contrast media administration when trained and authorized
• Support department efficiency while following infection control and safety procedures
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education requirements
