MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• Experience working with Avanto VB19 scanners required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• MRI certification preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
• Strong attention to detail, patient care, and clinical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality standards
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Monitor patients throughout exams and respond appropriately to their needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with radiology and care teams
• Follow all safety, infection prevention, and regulatory guidelines
• Support a collaborative hospital imaging team in delivering excellent patient care
