• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,540 - $2,730

• Duration: 19 weeks
• Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST
• Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• On-Call: 2-3 call shifts per month, with holidays/callbacks as needed per unit requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center required for this hospital imaging role
• Current New York State CT Technologist licensure required prior to start
• ARRT certification from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Telemetry experience required
• Siemens scanner experience required; minimum 6 months of Siemens scanner experience required
• Epic experience highly desired
• Injection therapy certification preferred; must be willing to complete during orientation if needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Patient-focused, compassionate, and collaborative approach to care

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and verify exams before beginning CT imaging procedures
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures clearly to help them feel comfortable
• Coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to support timely, accurate diagnostic imaging
• Insert IVs when clinically necessary for the exam
• Position and move patients safely, including those with limited mobility, using proper patient-handling techniques
• Document accurately in Epic and ensure images are transmitted correctly to PACS
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning environment in the radiology department
• Follow department policies and safety procedures consistently to support excellent patient care
