CT Technologist (Travel Assignment) – Hospital | Philadelphia, PA 19148

• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, Thursday through Saturday
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,240 - $2,400
• Charting System: Epic
• Additional Notes: No floating; on-call coverage may be required for 2 shifts per month; first-time travelers are welcome

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with GE scanners preferred
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, radiologic procedures, and radiation safety
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and contribute to weekend coverage as needed
• Travel radiology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout imaging
• Operate CT equipment effectively, including GE scanners, and follow established imaging protocols
• Administer contrast media and support IV access when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow departmental workflow standards
• Apply radiation safety practices and infection control precautions at all times
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to deliver timely, patient-centered care
• Provide dependable coverage during scheduled nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
