Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT technologist experience preferred
• ARRT or NMTCB registration in Radiography, Computed Tomography, or Nuclear Medicine
• Applicable state licensure for radiography and/or computed tomography
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient safety, and infection control practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
• Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and operate CT scanners according to physician orders and department protocols
• Perform detailed head and body CT scans for diagnostic and interventional purposes
• Verify patient identity and confirm the correct exam prior to imaging
• Assist patients on and off the scanner while providing clear, compassionate instructions
• Enter patient information accurately into department systems and ensure records are properly archived
• Adjust scanner and injector settings to safely complete exams with appropriate technical factors
• Label and transmit images accurately to PACS and RIS systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while following all department and hospital policies
• Support additional duties as needed to meet departmental needs
