• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Shift: Weekend days, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,540 - $2,730
• Call Requirements: 2-3 call shifts per month, with holiday and callback coverage as needed

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Recent Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Current New York State CT Technologist license required before start
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Telemetry experience required
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Epic experience highly desired
• Injection certification required for currently registered NYS clinicians and preferred for others; willingness to complete during orientation is a plus
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position patients when needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Patient-focused, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

CT Scan Technologist Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details before beginning each CT scan
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and clearly explain the process to help ease anxiety
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support accurate diagnostic imaging
• Insert IVs when necessary for contrast studies
• Position patients appropriately while following safe patient-handling practices
• Document all required information accurately in EPIC
• Ensure images are properly identified and transmitted to PACS after each exam
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning environment
• Follow department policy and procedure to support patient safety and high-quality imaging outcomes
