Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist or relevant radiology experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required
• Current Reg Technologist (R) (MR) credentials required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong understanding of MRI safety, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and contrast agents
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a patient-centered clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and administer contrast in accordance with state and federal guidelines, under radiologist direction
• Maintain a safe imaging environment for infant through adult patients
• Position patients accurately and apply proper technique to obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Provide compassionate care while respecting physical, cultural, and emotional patient needs
• Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Use independent judgment, critical thinking, and professional ethics in daily practice
• Participate in continuing education and ongoing learning to support clinical excellence
