• Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Setting: Hospital-based respiratory therapy / acute care
• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,660 - $1,780
• Experience Required: 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Charting System: Epic
• Float: May be required to float to another hospital location at the facility’s discretion
• Additional Notes: Travel healthcare assignment with a collaborative hospital team serving a high-acuity patient population

Job Requirements

• Current Ohio State License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High school diploma and college transcripts
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Experience supporting adult critical care, Med/Surg, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patients
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a busy hospital workflow
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy protocols, ventilator management, and airway management

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients across hospital units
• Set up and manage aerosol treatments, oxygen delivery devices, and non-invasive ventilation
• Support ventilator management, including weaning and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
• Perform and interpret ABGs and assist with respiratory diagnostics
• Deliver airway care including suctioning, tracheostomy care, and extubation support
• Administer ordered respiratory medications and therapies per protocol
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patients with COPD, asthma, cancer, and other complex conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and promote safe, efficient patient care
