• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 - $2,550
• Patient Volume: Approximately 32 visits per day
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Assignment Type: Travel CT technologist position

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• Ability to provide two supervisor references
• Willingness to float within the hospital and within scope of practice
• Experience with CT imaging procedures, contrast administration, venipuncture, and radiation safety
• Must meet compliance requirements, including SSN, DOB, and requested time off at submission
• Nicotine-free candidates only due to a tobacco-free facility policy

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with established imaging protocols
• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures clearly and compassionately
• Administer contrast media and initiate peripheral IV access when needed
• Apply radiation safety standards and maintain patient and staff safety at all times
• Produce accurate, diagnostic-quality images for a variety of CT studies
• Support a steady patient flow while delivering excellent service in a busy hospital imaging environment
• Collaborate with the radiology and imaging team and float to other hospital areas as needed within scope
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, documentation standards, and assignment requirements
