Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Ohio Respiratory Therapy License required and must be in hand at time of submission
• CRT or RRT credential required
• NRP certification required
• BLS certification required
• High school diploma and college transcripts required
• NICU experience required
• Experience with Epic preferred/required
• Must be comfortable with advanced neonatal respiratory care and neonatal transport support
• Must be available to complete credentialing requirements promptly prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care for neonates in a high-acuity NICU setting
• Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport activity as needed
• Assist with airway management and intubation support
• Manage advanced respiratory therapies, including CPAP, bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and ventilator support
• Work with specialized equipment and therapies such as nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation, and NAVA
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
• Float to another hospital location if needed at the facility’s discretion
