• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Schedule: Rotating days with mixed start times of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM; every other weekend and holiday
• Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiography program
• Current ARRT registration required
• Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control required
• CT certification from an accredited CT program or current ARRT CT registration required
• At least 1 year of recent CT Tech experience preferred; 3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience or 1 year of current CT Tech experience within the last 5 years is acceptable
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Operate the CT console and select appropriate imaging techniques for each exam
• Position patients properly and use immobilization devices as needed to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain, calibrate, and adjust CT equipment to support safe and accurate imaging
• Review exam requests and explain procedures to patients to promote comfort and cooperation
• Provide compassionate patient care while monitoring safety and well-being during procedures
• Assist with contrast media administration when trained and authorized
• Evaluate images for technical quality and document required information accurately
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, quality assurance, and department policies at all times
• Support a timely, efficient workflow while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
