Job Details

• Setting: Cardiac invasive lab / cath lab environment
• Location: Baltimore, MD 21201
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Call Requirement: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,610 - $2,800
• Schedule Notes: Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
• Travel Requirement: Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility unless otherwise stated

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab, cardiovascular imaging, or similar high-acuity procedural setting
• Strong experience with community hospital workflows
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• RCIS, ARRT, or RTR required
• Ability to support travel assignments and float within scope as needed
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of invasive cardiac procedures, including RHC, LHC, PCI, CTO, TAVR, and valve-related interventions
• Support complex diagnostic and interventional cases such as ASD/PFO closure, pericardiocentesis, and coronary thrombectomy
• Operate and assist with advanced cath lab equipment, including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, IVUS/FFR/DFR systems, and other cardiovascular technologies
• Maintain a sterile field and provide scrub, circulator, and procedural support as needed
• Monitor patients closely during procedures and respond appropriately to changing clinical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Contribute to a busy daily workflow with an average census of 15 patients across 4 procedure rooms
