CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Ability to perform CT scans independently with strong clinical judgment
• Current ARRT certification required
• Active New York State radiologic technologist license
• New York State injection certification
• Current CPR certification
• Experience performing a wide range of CT exams in an emergency or hospital setting
• Ability to work overnight and late evening hours in a self-directed role

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for emergency room and general hospital patients
• Work independently during evening and night coverage while maintaining a high standard of patient care
• Complete all CT exams except specialty studies such as virtual colon and cardiac imaging
• Collaborate with the imaging team to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate exam completion
• Use advanced imaging systems and follow department protocols for quality, safety, and compliance
• Support patient transport and movement as needed during shift coverage
• Provide compassionate care while helping patients feel comfortable throughout the diagnostic imaging process
