Travel Registered Dietitian Job in Baltimore, MD 21215 | Hospital Dietitian Opportunity

Join a hospital-based dietary services team in Baltimore, Maryland, and provide individualized inpatient nutrition care for adult and geriatric patients. • Location: Baltimore, MD 21215
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,690 - $1,820
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift; day shift (08:00 - 16:30)
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Average Daily Census: 10-12 patients
• Charting System: Cerner / PowerChart
• Weekend Coverage: Negotiable
• Time Off: Up to 2 pre-approved requests allowed per contract
• Employment Type: Travel

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Registered Dietitian experience required
• RD/RDN certification required
• Valid Maryland or compact license required at time of submission
• Experience with Cerner charting required
• Short-term acute care experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, or Level I/II trauma experience preferred
• References required
• Ability to provide care within scope and adapt to facility needs

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessments and reassessments for hospitalized patients
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nutrition care plans
• Provide therapeutic diet education and nutrition support for adult and geriatric patients
• Support nutrition management for diabetes, heart failure, renal disease, malnutrition, dysphagia, and gastrointestinal disorders
• Complete calorie counts, monitor intake and output, and track fluid and electrolyte needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Address enteral nutrition, TPN, and other advanced nutrition therapy needs as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner / PowerChart
• Contribute to safe, high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment
