This Travel CT Technologist position supports diagnostic imaging services in a hospital setting in Rochester, New York. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to perform accurate computed tomography exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain precise documentation throughout each scan. • Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts with on-call and callback coverage as needed per unit needs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/26/2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• Current New York State CT Technologist license required prior to start
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Telemetry experience required
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Epic experience highly desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Patient-centered, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details before beginning each CT scan
• Follow departmental safety policies and radiation safety procedures throughout every imaging exam
• Coordinate with physicians and the care team to support accurate diagnostic imaging and timely patient care
• Prepare patients for scans and clearly explain procedures to help them feel comfortable and informed
• Start IVs when needed for contrast administration and testing
• Position and transfer patients safely, including those with limited mobility, using safe patient handling practices
• Document exam details accurately in Epic and ensure images are properly sent to PACS
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning environment in the hospital imaging department
