CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist or computed tomography experience.
• Current ARRT certification or registration appropriate for CT practice.
• Active Massachusetts state licensure or authorization to practice as required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work a consistent Monday-Friday overnight schedule.
• Strong communication, patient-care, radiation-safety, and teamwork skills.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to established imaging protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare patients for computed tomography procedures, explain examinations clearly, and promote comfort and cooperation.
• Verify patient information, screening requirements, and exam orders before imaging.
• Operate and assess CT equipment, recognizing and reporting equipment concerns as needed.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety practices.
• Document procedures accurately and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the appropriate clinical team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe medical imaging environment.
