CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340–$2,510
• Location: Jamaica Plain, MA 02130, near Boston
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based CT and general radiology
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; approximately 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, ending January 17, 2027
• Work Arrangement: On-site

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, CT Tech, or Radiologic Technologist with CT experience
• Current CT Technologist certification
• Active Massachusetts licensure or authorization to practice as required for the role
• Ability to provide license and certification verification
• Strong understanding of CT imaging procedures, patient safety practices, and radiation protection standards
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and hospital care teams

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Operate CT equipment and verify image quality before completing examinations
• Apply appropriate radiation safety practices and follow hospital imaging procedures
• Recognize and appropriately respond to patient needs or changes in condition during examinations
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
• Accurately document examinations and maintain required patient and imaging records
