MRI Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490–$2,670
• Location: On-site in West Reading, Pennsylvania
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Duration: 13-week healthcare contract
• Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call: Rotating on-call coverage required
• Modality: General MRI and diagnostic imaging

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist or diagnostic imaging technologist
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred; ARMRIT candidates with emergency department or trauma imaging experience may also be considered
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong experience operating GE MRI scanners
• Proficiency with MRI contrast administration, venipuncture, trauma studies, and triple-phase studies
• Successful completion of required fingerprinting before the start date; results must be finalized prior to starting
• Ability to work an on-site schedule and participate in rotating call coverage

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations across hospital, outpatient, clinic, and trauma imaging settings
• Operate and rotate among GE Signa 1.5T HDX, GE Signa 3T HDXT, and GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI systems
• Administer MRI contrast safely and perform venipuncture in accordance with established protocols
• Complete trauma, triple-phase, and other specialized MRI studies
• Screen patients, verify clinical information, and ensure MRI safety procedures are followed
• Collaborate with radiologists and the broader medical imaging team to support accurate, timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide dependable coverage during scheduled shifts and rotating call assignments
