Travel CT Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240–$2,400
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital CT and radiology department
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Assignment End Date: February 1, 2027
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 6:00 p.m.–8:30 a.m.
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights; weekend coverage is required every weekend
- Call: Not required
- Floating: Not required
- Orientation: 12 hours
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of CT Technologist or computed tomography experience
- Previous Emergency Department and Level I trauma imaging experience
- ARRT certification in CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience operating Philips CT scanners
- Proficiency with abdominal, pelvic, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging with and without contrast
- Experience performing vascular chest CTA, vascular CTA, and brain perfusion studies
- Knowledge of contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV placement
- Ability to provide diagnostic imaging services for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently in a hospital radiology setting
- Support Emergency Department and Level I trauma imaging needs
- Complete routine and advanced computed tomography studies, including abdominal, pelvic, chest, head, neck, spine, vascular, and musculoskeletal examinations
- Prepare and administer contrast media according to established safety protocols
- Start peripheral IVs as needed for contrast-enhanced CT examinations
- Apply radiation safety practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan
- Collaborate with radiologists, radiology professionals, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support timely patient care
- Document examinations and related information in designated radiology workflow systems
