Travel Mammography Job Details

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490–$2,670
• Assignment Type: Travel radiologic technologist assignment
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• End Date: March 1, 2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Monday through Friday with every other Saturday; Saturday coverage is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM when scheduled
• Specialty: Mammography and breast imaging

Mammography Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional mammography experience
• Active Massachusetts license in Radiography before the start date
• Active Massachusetts license or authorization in Mammography before the start date
• Mammography Technician certification
• Strong knowledge of mammography procedures, breast imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning
• Ability to work an every-other-Saturday schedule as assigned
• Strong communication, patient-care, and teamwork skills

Mammography Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations according to established protocols
• Properly position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic breast images
• Explain procedures, answer patient questions, and promote a comfortable, respectful patient experience
• Operate and maintain mammography imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards
• Review images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team as needed
• Accurately document examinations and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Follow infection prevention, radiation safety, and department policies
