CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02120
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based Diagnostic Radiology
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,190
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• End Date: February 27, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours worked
• Work Arrangement: On-site

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working as a CT Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or imaging professional in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting
• CT Technologist certification or equivalent professional credentials
• ARRT certification verification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, radiation safety, and patient care practices
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and follow department scheduling requirements

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Prepare patients for computed tomography procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Operate CT equipment effectively while maintaining image quality and radiation safety standards
• Review patient histories, confirm exam indications, and identify relevant precautions before imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care
• Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with department and regulatory standards
• Assist with routine equipment quality control and report equipment or image-quality concerns promptly
