Experience & Skills

• Required Years of Experience: 2+ years in Labor & Delivery (higher value between 1+ and 2+ is 2+)
• Must Have: Experience and confidence to work independently
• Preferred: Professional, team player personality

Certifications & Licensure

• Required Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • AWHONN
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • HWC (Health and Wellness Certification)
• Required Licensure: Registered Nurse license valid in Tennessee
• Additional Requirements: Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start

• EHR Systems: MedHost, Centricity Perinatal
• Trauma Level: Not specified

Dress Code

• Scrub color: Any
• Unacceptable attire: No camouflage; no logo shirts/sweatshirts other than facility logo

Additional Notes

• Orientation is bi-weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
• Client may require additional certifications beyond those listed

This position offers the opportunity to work in a two-hospital system providing a full range of acute care and outpatient services. The Athens campus includes emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care, while the Etowah campus offers skilled nursing, long-term care, behavioral health, and wound care services.
