Job Opportunity: RN - OB/GYN (Travel)

Job Description

• Rapid response position; must be available to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance.
• Responsibilities include labor and delivery, postpartum care, newborn nursery, and newborn care pre-transition.
• Work in a 6-bed OB/GYN unit with a patient ratio of 1:1 for laboring moms and couplet care.
• Facility uses CPM and MEDHOST electronic health records (EHR).
• Weekend hours every other week or as needed.
• Call requirements as needed.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Float requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license valid in Tennessee.
• Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in OB/GYN specialty.
• Previous experience in OB, labor & delivery, and nursery care required.
• Pre-transition newborn care experience required.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs biweekly on Mondays.
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
• All clinical staff must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start.
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color; non-facility attire is not allowed.

Patient Population

• Serves all ages, focusing on obstetrics and newborn care.
