Schedule

Full Time (4x9s), 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Monday to Friday with holiday rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT/Radiologic Technologist to perform technical radiographic assignments and exercises complex skills, judgment, and knowledge in both CT and Radiologic Technology. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic studies as requested, ensuring infection control according to Universal Precautions.

Responsibilities

Operate various radiographic equipment, including portable diagnostic equipment, with accuracy.
Evaluate images for quality and demonstrate accuracy of positioning based on procedure guidelines.
Provide clear and concise instructions during procedures to calm and relieve stress for patients.
Ensure proper radiation protection is utilized for self, patients, and personnel.
Demonstrate flexibility in assuming emergency call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Maintain competency in RIS and PACS, entering and editing patient exams and charges.
Perform radiographic and CT studies with and without IV contrast enhancement.
Follow NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines and perform required QC activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

ARRT Certification
NYS Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience with solid Radiologic/X-Ray experience or C-Arm experience
