MRI Tech - Radiology / Cardiology

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours from 08:00 to 16:30. Call required, including one night per week and one weekend every five weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Tech with at least 1 year of experience in radiology/cardiology settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of MRI operations and have proficiency with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans for various body parts, including the brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and breast.
Utilize specialized imaging procedures, including diffusion and perfusion imaging.
Implement isolation precautions and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.
Conduct image post-processing and multiplanar reconstruction as required.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Tech.
ARRT (R) (MR) certification required.
BLS certification required.
Philips MRI experience is preferred.
Previous charge experience and teaching hospital experience are preferred.
