Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of MRI procedures while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images and providing invaluable support to the radiology team.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary checks of diagnosis, prescription, and patient identification.
• Greet patients and confirm their identifications.
• Obtain patient history and screen for surgeries and implanted items.
• Explain procedures to patients and gain consent for contrast.
• Inject IV MRI contrast agents as directed by the Radiologist.
• Operate MRI scanners and patient monitoring equipment.
• Archive and verify MRI images in hard-copy format as needed.
• Perform quality assurance testing consistent with section protocols.
• Monitor patient status and well-being throughout procedures.
• Communicate equipment problems and image quality issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic and/or MRI Technology program (required)
• ARRT Certification in MRI (required)
• MRI Certification (required)
• CT Certification (preferred)
