Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures that will require independent judgment, alongside ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis. The candidate must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures and possess the ability to obtain intravenous access. Prioritizing and organizing daily work flow, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures with independent judgment
• Complete all routine diagnostic procedures efficiently
• Obtain intravenous access as required
• Prioritize and organize daily workflows
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year CT experience (required)
• EPIC EMR experience (required)
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology (ARRT - CT) (required)
• Previous/current travel experience is strongly encouraged
• Contrast injection experience (required)
• GE scanner experience (preferred)
• BLS certification (required)
