Job Description

The Physical Therapist implements patient rehabilitation programs to help improve patient mobility, function, and strength. Responsible for managing patient care and ensuring quality treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record systems for documentation.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides.
• Communicate with physicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient chart documentation.
• Ensure patient comfort and address questions.
• Collaborate with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up.
• Participate in business marketing and referral processes as needed.
• Follow HIPAA policy and procedure.
• Be physically mobile and assist patients as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active license or plan to test for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Continuing education courses preferred.
