This is a 13-week contract position requiring night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will operate imaging equipment, perform CT scans, and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures on patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
- Utilize advanced imaging equipment including Philips 7500, Philips Brilliance 64, and Siemens Force.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, including radiation safety protocols.
- Conduct 3D renderings and various diagnostic studies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using charting systems.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
- BLS certification required.
- Active Maryland or compact state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.
