12-hour night shifts from 1900 to 0730. Shift varies.

Job Description

Provide comprehensive nursing care in an inpatient surgical unit composed of 32 private rooms. The patient population primarily includes those undergoing orthopedic procedures. This role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to med-surg and orthopedic patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Participate in surgical procedures as needed within the surgical unit.
• Document patient care activities and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families about their care plans and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a medical surgical or orthopedic unit.
• Current AHA BLS and NIH Certification required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
