Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our night shift operations, specializing in acute inpatient rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will possess a current RN license and have a solid background in patient care and management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patient care for adults and geriatric populations in an acute rehab setting.
- Administer medications and perform blood glucose monitoring.
- Provide care for medical devices, including ports and IVs.
- Conduct fall risk assessments and implement prevention strategies.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Participate in interdisciplinary support for patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current and valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
- 1 year of experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Charge experience and familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
