Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize CT scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues, providing essential information for diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Administer contrast materials as required.
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment.
- Position patients to capture precise imaging.
- Interpret physician's scanning instructions accurately.
- Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- High School diploma required; graduate of an A.M.A approved school for radiologic technology.
- Advanced certification in CT technology.
- Current ARRT certification.
- Licensed in New York State as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
- Certification by New York State for contrast injections.
