Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The candidate will be involved in providing care to maternity women and newborns in the Labor, Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP.
- Preferred skills: PALS, experience with Centricity and Meditech.
