Schedule
Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 with a requirement to work every other weekend. Alternating call requirements with 3 (12-hour) shifts per 4-week schedule.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units. Responsibilities include providing care to maternity women and newborns through effective monitoring and support during labor and the postpartum period.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and monitor maternal and fetal health during labor.
- Assist in the delivery of newborns and provide immediate postnatal care.
- Manage postpartum unit care, ensuring mothers and babies are comfortable and recovering well.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license in Tennessee.
- ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP certifications required prior to start.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Experience with fetal monitoring is essential.
