Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in OB/GYN, Med Surg, Post Partum, and Pediatrics. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing IV and NG tube placements, and conducting fundal checks. This position involves managing medical surgical patients on the floor due to a lower birth rate, ensuring comprehensive care across various patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in OB/GYN, Med Surg, Post Partum, and Pediatrics.
• Perform IV placements and NG tube placements.
• Conduct fundal checks and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in OB/GYN, Med Surg, Post Partum, or Pediatrics.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS.
• Valid check against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date.
