Job Description

The Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery department will provide care for maternity women and newborns in the Labor/Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, supporting mothers through labor, and facilitating the transition of newborns into the nursery environment.

Responsibilities

Provide care to maternity women and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs
Assist in labor and delivery processes
Provide education and support to mothers during the postpartum period
Perform necessary documentation and charting in the EHR system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license in Tennessee
ACLS certification
BLS certification
NRP certification
1+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Fetal monitoring experience is required
