Travel RN - ICU (Evening Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel RN for our high-acuity ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have a background in critical care nursing with expertise in managing complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate care for critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and response to interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment options.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (Temp license not accepted).
• 2+ years of ICU experience, including care for ventilated patients and post-CABG.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and ECMO is preferred.
• Proficient in Meditech documentation system is preferred.
